It’s all about the Timing.

Ever notice how your timing can be just a little bit off and things can ground to a stop and go very, very WRONG.

The snow and Ice storms are one example. So far this winter we were enjoying the forced indoor time.
On nicer clear days we get out and run errands, do any work we have to do, visit Jessie’s sister in the nursing home and then when the weather doesn't cooperate we hibernate and enjoy the time at home working on and creating bags. see what we are creating #jessiesbags on Instagram.

The last few days have NOT been as enjoyable. We have 2 sewing machines. That way one is always ready to be used. And in this house some part of every day is spent sewing. Well what had happened is the #1 sewing machine will not zigzag stitch. Every bag we make has some zigzag stitching…and we are trying to make 100 bags a month for 2014. So Jessie who has been sewing and working on machines for 60+ years usually can pull apart the machine oil parts, clean out dust and put it back together and keep it moving….. NOT THIS TIME. (We think it’s a computer issue now which she cannot fix, it has to go to the shop!) Our solution we switched machines pull out machine #2.

The interesting thing about timing is its usually bad timing. Working with the second machine (did I mention we bought 2 of the same machines so it would be the same to operate with no confusion?)
Jessie began sewing and it had a different problem. She took it apart oiled and dusted it and could not get it back together one piece is not fitting right. SO WE HAVE 2 NON WORKING SEWING MACHINES. Now the whole household has been (Pulled in unwillingly) involved in trying to fix the machines. Imagine spending the frustrating day working on the machine inside in the ice storm because we can’t get out. While Jessie enjoys the challenge of fixing machines the rest of the household not so much!
Let’s just say not how I want to spend my day yesterday.

Yea! Early This morning Jessie found the sewing machine manuals now she says we can read it together and fix the machines and save some money. OH BOY NOW WE ARE GOING TO READING ABOUT FIXING SEWING MACHINES TODAY! Let’s just say not how I want to spend my day.

I WONDER DO I STILL HAVE MY ICE SKATES can I make a run for the border.
I need milk and eggs from the market I have to go out ( that should kill and hour).

DON"T WE  HAVE SOME SNOW TO SHOVEL SOMEWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.I HAVE TO SHOVEL AROUND THE BAR B Q GRILL IN THE BACK YARD…..BE BACK SOON..
