Taking our show on the road.

Exciting things are happening at Jessie’s Bags. The residents and staff really enjoyed our visit for arts & crafts at the nursing & rehab facility last month. The want us to come back. We would love to! This summer we are scheduling to  working with several different  nursing homes & assisted living facilities to encourage the resident’s and to let them help us with Jessie’s bags. We hope to leave each participant with a bag and start decorating the next set of bags. Everyone wants to feel useful and we think it will help the residents to feel valued & youthful also…

 We are also getting a few teens involved for bag making summer projects and summer fun….So you may see us around town.

We have some other projects in the works for the fall we will update you as more info becomes available. Jessie’s bags is on the move!

Adult Day Programs, Home Schools, Day Cares, Senior Centers……

Do you have a group that would like to volunteer to work with Jessie’s bags? We can come to your location and introduce you to Jessie and her bags. Bags will be available for participants. 

Work with us for a few hours and help us make bags for donation to breast cancer survivors.

Alaska here we come!

Jessie’s bags are going to Alaska. Two of the volunteers that regularly help with Jessie’s Bags and their two sisters are headed on vacation to Alaska. They got large beach size bags to carry on their trip. We received a donation and the bags are flying away…. You never know where you will spot one of Jessie’s bags!
