Sometimes you
don’t see or hear about the people behind the scenes. These people work every
week or every day to make Jessie’s Bags possible.
Carrie is one of our sewers. She picks up a big bag of work every few days and completes it and returns it looking for more to sew. We are so grateful to have her help and thanks to her as Jessie slows down we are still making bags.

One volunteer
makes Beautiful tags and others help with notes of encouragement. We are grateful for
this as it frees us up to do other parts of the bag making process.
Some of the volunteering
ladies are also survivors. Some are very private and don’t say a lot about
their experiences, Where Jessie and I shout it from the roof top. We share our
experiences. We hope telling others might encourage someone else. We are very
public with some of our events.
And we see others who choose not to share.
One young woman we follow on Instagram has been posting before her chemo treatments. She is singing her fight songs. I love her spirt and determination. Showing this makes me see we are not alone in our struggle to survive

Thank you to
all who help us every day to create Jessie’s
Bags.
